Both starting pitchers put forth strong efforts on Sunday. Adonis Rosa (4-3) got the win for the RiverDogs (27-15, 61-51) after allowing just an unearned run over six and one-third innings, and he outdueled
Isiah Gilliam put the RiverDogs on top in the bottom of the first with a solo homer to left-center field, his 13th of the season.
The score remained 1-0 until the bottom of the fifth, when a pair of singles and a Drive (20-22, 61-50) error plated the second run for Charleston.
The Drive got on the board in the seventh.
Phillip Diehl recorded his second save for Charleston by recording the final two outs.
