Midland, TX-Justin Dunn pitched seven strong innings and the Arkansas Travelers ended a brief three-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over the Midland RockHounds. Dunn surrendered a run in the first inning and then settled in for his second straight start of seven innings. Evan White drove in both runs for the Travs who scored in each of the first two innings. Dunn was dominant, holding the RockHounds to just two hits and a walk over his final six innings. At one point, he retired 10 in a row and 15 out of 16. Jack Anderson and Art Warren each worked a scoreless inning to close out the game.
Moments That Mattered
* Donnie Walton ripped a double to begin the game and Evan White followed with a sharp single to drive him in.
* Midland had two on with out in the eighth and loaded the bases with two out but Anderson got a pop out to end the threat. In the ninth, Edwin Diaz hit a leadoff double but Warren put down three in a row including two on strikeouts to end the game.

News and Notes
* The win for Dunn was his first in over a month (June 19).
* White has driven in all five Trav runs in the series. His second RBI tonight came on a bases loaded walk, his first base on balls in July.
* Anderson was activated off the injured list today. He had missed nearly two weeks. In a corresponding move, right-hander Kyle Wilcox was transferred to Modesto.
