Bridgewater, NJ -- The Somerset Patriots (65-41) were defeated 9-2 by the Hartford Yard Goats (63-43) on Saturday night at TD Bank Ballpark.
In his Double-A debut, Somerset starter Matt Sauer was tagged for the loss after he surrendered a career-high nine runs, including eight over the first two innings of the game.
Somerset had only three hits in the game and scored its only two runs on Elijah Dunham's career-high 14th home run of the season in the fourth inning.

The Patriots' other two hits belonged to Anthony Volpe and Jesus Bastidas.

Yankees No. 13 prospect RHP Randy Vasquez will get the start for Somerset opposite RHP Tony Locey for Hartford.
