RHP Chase Hampton (5.0 IP, 4 R, 2 ER, 5 H, 3 BB, 4 K, HR) was tagged with his first Double-A loss, despite two of his four runs allowed being unearned.
CF Jasson Dominguez (2-for-5, SB) stole his 30th base of the season to lead the Patriots.
Dominguez also registered his team-leading 23rd multi-hit game of the season and his 12th since the start of July.
The Yankees’ top prospect also extended his season-best on-base streak to 12 games. During the 12-game on-base streak, Dominguez is 16-for-52 (.308/.379/.346) with 9 RBI, 7 R, 6 BB and 5 SB. Dominguez’s streak of five straight games with an RBI came to an end.
1B Mickey Gasper (1-for-3, RBI, R, BB) capped the Patriots’ scoring with a third inning RBI-single. In the seventh inning, Gasper moved from first base to play third base for the first time in his professional career.
