Boca del Río, Ver. (www.elaguilabeisbol.com / Paola Ríos) 30 de marzo de 2023.- Con equipo completo, El Águila de Veracruz enfrentará a los Pericos de Puebla en “La Baja Series”, que se realizará del 31 de marzo, 1 y 2 de abril en el estadio Arturo C. Nahl, en La Paz, Baja California.
A lo largo de la pretemporada en tierras veracruzanas, el mánager de la novena jarocha, Matías Carrillo y su cuerpo técnico tuvieron la oportunidad de vislumbrar su orden al bat con el cuál enfrentar a Pericos.
Aunque Carrillo no ha revelado su orden al bat, verán acción Alan Espinoza, Edwin Espinal, Alexi Amarista, Alex Liddi, Gustavo Nuñez, Anthony Giansanti, Alonso Gaitán y José José Aguilar.
El abridor para el primer juego por El Águila en la Baja Serie es José Miguel Piña.
Uno de los refuerzos de la novena jarocha, es el estelar mexicano José Juan Aguilar, quien entiende la filosofía que ha tenido a El Águila a lo largo de 120 años: dejar todo en terreno.
“Es un equipo aguerrido, vine a sumar (…) como siempre lo he dicho, como jugador y como persona, siempre doy el máximo, el cien por ciento hacía la afición que viene a vernos.
“En este caso con nuevos colores, ahora con El Águila, hay que defenderlo al máximo y como siempre, se trabaja para ser campeones”, sentenció el jardinero.
José Juan Aguilar ha tenido una gran adaptación como aguilista, donde ha sido arropado por jugadores y cuerpo técnico.
“Muy contento y agradecido, también con la directiva, que me haya tomado en cuenta, estamos aquí y con todas las ganas.
“A los compañeros ya los conozco, a Matías y a varios coaches también, me siento muy contento y me han arropado muy bien, agradecido con ellos también involucrarme rápidamente con el equipo”, comentó Aguilar.
La Baja Series se podrá seguir a través de las redes sociales de El Águila y finalizar este compromiso en La Paz, El Águila viajará a Puebla para enfrentar El Interliga, donde se medirá a los Diablos Rojos, Pericos de Puebla, Toros de Tijuana y Guerreros de Oaxaca.
