Ender Inciarte expected to join M-Braves on Monday and Tuesay
PEARL, MS - Atlanta Braves outfielder and three-time Gold Glove award winner Ender Inciarte (in-see-ARE-tay) is expected to continue his major league rehab assignment for the Mississippi Braves during the final two games of the current six-game homestand against the Biloxi Shuckers on Monday, July 8 and Tuesday, July 9 at Trustmark

Inciarte, 28, played in 40 games for the Atlanta Braves this season before the injury, batting .218 with 27 hits, five doubles, one triple, two home runs, and nine RBI. Inciarte earned a Gold Glove award in each of the last three seasons, 2016-18, becoming the first Braves player to win three straight Gold Glove awards since CF Andruw Jones won 10 straight from 1998-2007.
The Maracaibo, Venezuela native earned his first All-Star nod in 2017 after being selected as a reserve to the National League squad, going 0-for-2 as Atlanta's lone representative. He produced a .341 batting average post-All-Star break in 2016, the 13th-highest mark in Atlanta-franchise history (since 1966) and finished fifth in the 2014 National League Rookie of the Year balloting. The Braves signed Inciarte to a five-year contract extension on December 23, 2016, which runs through the 2021 season with a club option for 2022.
The Maracaibo, Venezuela native played for the High-A Florida Fire Frogs on Monday, July 1, as a designated hitter and went 0-for-2, and on Tuesday, July 2, he played center field for three full innings where he was 1-for-1 with a single and a walk.
Inciarte was a Southern League All-Star in 2013 as part of the Mobile BayBears club while coming up through the Arizona Diamondbacks farm system. He hit .281 over 127 games with five home runs, 17 doubles, 25 RBI and a league-best 43 stolen bases.

A career .286 batter at the major league level, Inciarte has 36 career home runs, 128 doubles, 26 triples, 228 RBI and 109 stolen bases over six seasons and 734 games. Inciarte made his MLB debut at the age of 23 on May 2, 2014, for the Arizona Diamondbacks against the San Diego Padres where he had four at-bats with one hit.
The M-Braves will try to end the season high six-game skid on Friday night at Trustmark Park. LHP
