(Reading, PA) – The Reading Fightin Phils are excited to share many new concession items for fans to enjoy during games in 2023.
One of the new featured items will be a “Crispy Chicken Sandwich.” The sandwich will be added to the menu at Plaza Favorites and will feature a fried chicken patty on a fresh roll. It will surely be a popular addition to the FirstEnergy Stadium menu this season.
For fans looking to satisfy their sweet tooth, two new ICEE inspired deserts are coming for this season. The first is an ICEE Sugar Cookie, which is flavored like an ICEE but on a cookie. It will come in both blue raspberry and cherry flavors and served at the Big Straw Milkshakes stand in the Tompkins Bank Plaza.
If you are looking for a frozen treat on a warm day this summer, we will also be featuring an ICEE Push Up Italian Ice. Flavors for that will also be in blue raspberry and cherry and served at all dessert stands around the ballpark. Both ICEE treats can be purchased at all R-Phils games this season.
Additionally, a Plant-based burger will be added to the Grand Slam Grill menu for fans looking for an alternative to the traditional hamburger or cheeseburger. For fans looking for some delicious popcorn, you can now also purchase some at the Redner's Quick Stop at the ballpark. Lastly, for fans looking for a hot dog with a bit of a jalapeno twist, you can divulge in our Berks Fiesta Dog all season long at the Grand Slam Grill.
Exciting drink options are on tap this season as well. Fans will love the "beer bat." A baseball-bat like glass filled to the top with beer. Additionally, a new and expanded slushy stand is coming to the ballpark in 2023 as well for fans looking for a cool drink on a hot day. At the Redner’s Hard Slushy and Seltzer Stand located on the Tompkins Bank Plaza there are lots of flavors to choose from including pina colada, Jamaican Me Happy, Pink Flamingo and Margarita.
We are so excited to welcome fans back to FirstEnergy Stadium for the 2023 season. A season that will include many new additions to the ballpark, such as lights, a new home run wall and now many exciting menu additions for this season.
For fans looking to keep it traditional, our signature items are back this season as well. Come get some of the best burgers, hot dogs, pizza (where the pepperoni is always free) and more at the ballpark this season.
Single-game tickets are now on sale. They can be purchased online at rphils.com/tickets, by calling 610-370-BALL or in-person at the Customer’s Bank Ticket Office. The R-Phils welcome the Hartford Yard Goats (Colorado Rockies) to FirstEnergy Stadium to open the 2023 home schedule on Tuesday, Apr. 11 at 6:45. The plaza opens at 4:45, so be sure to get here early to enjoy our new menu additions and more from the concessions!
