The 'Wolves battled back again in the bottom of the seventh to make it a one-run game. Scivicque led off with a solo home run to left, his sixth of the year. Lester followed with a double and moved to third on a Clemens groundout. Lester scored on an Eaves groundout to make it 7-6. Erie would get no closer.
Hjelle (1-2) earned the win allowing two runs on five hits with four walks and four strikeouts in five innings.
Szkutnik (1-3) took the loss allowing three runs on five hits in 0.2 innings.
