MANCHESTER, N.H — The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, the Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, could not hold their four-run lead late as they fell to the Reading Fightin’ Phils 6-4 at Delta Dental Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

New Hampshire (26-24) led 4-0 through five innings but two runs each in the sixth and seventh for Reading (20-30) inserted the Fightin’ Phils back into the game.

Tied 4-4 heading into the ninth, a go-ahead RBI double by Carlos De La Cruz off Troy Watson (1-3) with two outs put Reading ahead and he would later score on a bases loaded walk to give Reading a comeback victory.

Palmegiani leads the team in multi-hit games with 11 on the season. The Blue Jays No. 29 prospect also extended his hit streak to seven straight games and has now reached base in 39 of 45 games played this season.
