KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (May 8, 2017) - The Intimidators pounded out 15 hits, including seven in a 5-run third inning, but the Tourists rallied for seven unanswered runs as Asheville won, 7-5, on Monday night at Intimidators Stadium supported by Carolinas HealthCare System. Kannapolis (15-15) dropped three of four games to Asheville to lose the series.
With the Intimidators up 5-0 after three innings, the Tourists capitalized on an error to return-fire with a 4-run top of the fourth. One inning later, Asheville captured the lead thanks to a ball lost in the lights.
