Las Vegas, Nev. - Zach Borenstein sent the Aces home empty-handed Sunday afternoon with a walk-off double in the bottom of the ninth inning. The former Aces outfielder connected on a Neftalí Feliz fastball with two outs to give Las Vegas a 4-3 victory. Matt Koch made his second Triple-A start of the season, delivering 6.2 innings of two-run baseball. Sócrates Brito launched his 9th home run of the season, a three-run blast in the fourth inning off 51's starter Drew Gagnon. As a team, Reno recorded just five hits and the loss moves them to 34-42 this season.
On the back of Matt Koch, Reno jumped out to a three-run lead in the top of the fourth inning. The right-hander put up six scoreless frames, extending his Pacific Coast League scoreless inning streak to 12.0 on the year. Patrick Kivlehan singled off Koch to start the bottom of the seventh inning. Ty Kelly lined out as the second batter of the inning, but Christian Colón launched a two-run home run to bring Las Vegas within one. Reno would go to the combination of Joey Krehbiel, Randall Delgado and Neftali Feliz to close things out. Las Vegas plated one in the bottom of the eighth off of Delgado thanks to three walks and hit a walk-off against Feliz to end the ballgame.
