The former Arkansas Razorback spent parts of two seasons with Charlotte in 2014 and 2015. Stanek made three starts for the Stone Crabs after being promoted from Bowling Green on July 6, 2014. The right-hander made his return to Charlotte in 2015, making nine starts for the Stone Crabs before being promoted to Double-A Montgomery on May 25. He dominated FSL hitters to the tune of a 1.78 ERA over 50.2 innings, limiting opponents to 33 hits (.189 AVG).
Stanek becomes the sixth member of the 2014 Stone Crabs to reach the Show and the fifth member of the 2015 team.
