Four-Run Seventh Too Much For Pigs, Fall 7-3
Logan Moore hit a two-run home run, but the Syracuse Chiefs (52-83) plated four runs in the seventh and Neftali Soto hit two, two-run home runs, defeating the IronPigs (74-61) by the score of 7-3 at NBT Bank Stadium.

The Pigs did make a comeback effort in the top of the eighth inning, as
Unfortunately for the Pigs, they would go in order in the top of the ninth.
Kingery came around to give the Pigs an early 1-0 lead in the top of the first, as the 23-year-old scored after being hit by a pitch. Perkins then hit a double off the left field wall to give the Pigs the lead.
The lead could have increased, as the Pigs loaded the bases with no outs in the frame. Chiefs starter Erlis Rogers then struck out the side, limiting the Pigs to just one run.
Soto struck with his first two-run shot in the bottom half of the first inning, giving the Chiefs a 2-1 lead that they would not relinquish.

With the loss, the Pigs elimination number for playoff contention falls to five games.
