2B Anthony Seigler (2-for-4, 3 RBI, HR, 2B, 2 R, BB) put Somerset on the board with an RBI double in the 2nd inning, before his two-run homer in the 9th inning cut the deficit to two runs. Seigler’s 7 HR this season, all of which have come over his last 15 games, match his single-season high set in 97 games in 2022. Seigler, who celebrated his 25th birthday on Thursday, has reached base in eight of his last nine games. Over his last 15 games, Seigler has posted a 1.006 OPS with 7 HR, 13 RBI, 11 R, 8 BB. All seven of Seigler’s home runs this season have come at home, where he owns a .794 OPS compared to a .529 OPS on the road.

C Jesus Rodriguez (2-for-6, RBI) tallied his first Double-A hit and RBI in the contest with an RBI single in the 9th. Playing in his second Double-A game on Thursday, Rodriguez put together his first multi-hit performance with Somerset and his 22nd total multi-hit game this season. Rodriguez leads the Yankees farm system with a .329 AVG and 72 H, while his .411 OBP places second.
SS Alexander Vargas (2-for-5, RBI, R, 3B) recorded his fourth multi-hit game at the Double-A level. Over his last seven games, Vargas is 7-for-21 (.333) with 1 HR, 2 RBI, and 5 R.
CF Spencer Jones (2-for-5, RBI, BB, SB) added a pair of hits including an RBI single in the 7th. In the month of June, Jones is slashing .286/.354/.486 with 3 HR, 17 RBI, and 13 R. Jones stole his team-leading 17th base in the contest, which is T-3rd most in the Eastern League.
