Final Full Month of Regular Season Brings Food Trucks, Character Appearances, and More to Chukchansi Park

Promotions for the month of August to include Peppa Pig Night and the return of the Fresno Tacos.

(Fresno, CA) - With only 24 regular season home games left in 2021, the Fresno Grizzlies return home in first place of the Low-A West and with a packed promotional schedule in the month of August. The team faces off against the San Jose Giants, San Francisco’s Low-A affiliate, tomorrow

(Fresno, CA) - With only 24 regular season home games left in 2021, the Fresno Grizzlies return home in first place of the Low-A West and with a packed promotional schedule in the month of August. The team faces off against the San Jose Giants, San Francisco’s Low-A affiliate, tomorrow for game 1 of a 12-game homestand featuring both the Giants and the valley-rival Stockton Ports at Chukchansi Park.

The month of August is highlighted with 10 promotional nights over 18 games and includes fan favorites such as Touch-a-Truck Night, Peppa Pig Night, and the return of the Fresno Tacos as part of MiLB’s Copa de la Diversión.

August’s full promotional schedule includes:

  • 8/7 - Peppa Pig Night presented by Fresno Pet ER

  • 8/8 - Chukchansi Heritage Night presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino

  • 8/13 - Growers Night presented by Simplot & Friday Night Fireworks

  • 8/14 & 15 - Fresno Tacos

  • 8/14 - Pint Glass Giveaway presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino

  • 8/24 - Community Outreach Night presented by Chukchansi Gold Resort & Casino

  • 8/27 - My Job Depends On Ag Night presented by Touchstone Pistachio Co. & Friday Night Fireworks

  • 8/28 - Wizarding Night presented by Fresno/Clovis Convention & Visitors Bureau

  • 8/29 - Touch-a-Truck presented by Golden State Peterbilt

Peppa Pig Night will include appearances from Peppa Pig and George while Wizarding Night will feature a magic wand giveaway. The weekend of August 14 & 15 will be highlighted by the Grizzlies transforming into the Fresno Tacos for the return of the world-famous alter ego. That weekend will also include tons of taco trucks on the concourse as a preview for what fans can expect at Taco Truck Throwdown on October 23.

“We are ready to go into the final stretch of the season with a BANG!” said Fresno Grizzlies president Derek Franks. “With so many amazing promotions including the highly anticipated return of the Fresno Tacos, I know our fans are going to have a blast out at Chukchansi Park over the next month and a half.”
