Irvin, Robinson lead Pigs to series win over RailRiders
Follow @IronPigsCole Irvin (3-0) kept the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (46-34) at bay, while Shane Robinson homered twice to lead the Lehigh Valley IronPigs (37-41) to a 12-3 win on Saturday night. The Pigs now lead the IronRail series 7-4.

The IronPigs scored two runs in the bottom of the first inning against
Lehigh Valley scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to take a 7-1 lead.
The Pigs scored two more runs in the bottom of the sixth inning as Robinson hit a two-run home run off Acevedo to advance the score to 9-1. The home run for Robinson was his sixth of the season. Irvin allowed just one run off six hits with six strikeouts in seven innings.
Three more runs came across home plate for Lehigh Valley in the bottom of the seventh inning to extend their lead to 12-1.
The IronPigs play for a sweep on Sunday afternoon at Coca-Cola Park. First pitch is scheduled for 1:35 p.m.
