3 Things You Probably Didn't Know About Us

We're SERIOUS about breaking records
January 13, 2015

1. WE BREAK WORLD RECORDS, AND WE'RE DOING IT THIS WEEKEND…

Come to The Diamond at 8am this Saturday, January 17 to add your name to the Guinness Book of World Records as part of the "Largest Fitness Circuit Training" EVER! To break the record, participants will rotate between a trio of ten minute workout stations for a total of 30-35 minutes of exercise.

Local Mayors, City Officials, Fitness Instructors and special guests will provide the motivation as you blaze through each circuit. Activities will include push-ups, sit-ups and air squats, among others. This event is suitable for all ages and fitness levels, so bring the family or your gym buddies and make history with us! 2. WE BREAK ATTENDANCE RECORDS…

The Diamond in Lake Elsinore is the crown jewel of the California League, and its sublime setting has been enjoyed by the community for over two decades. This one-of-a-kind experience has helped the Storm lead the league in attendance for an unprecedented five consecutive seasons. But The Diamond doesn't just shine during baseball season; it serves as a year-round events venue and a community hub. Each year, over 500,000 people come to 500 Diamond Drive for Field of Screams: The Haunted Stadium, the historic Lake Elsinore Grand Prix and other community happenings. The stadium even plays host to the graduation ceremonies for every high school in Lake Elsinore.

3. WE BREAK MASCOT RECORDS…

One visit to a Storm game and you'll know who rules the roost: it's none other than Thunder, the Big Green Dog! The two-time mascot of the year sets the standard for Minor League mascots, and his impact can be felt beyond the shores of Lake Elsinore. Whether it's visiting a local school as part of the Lake Elsinore Storm reading program or making an appearance at Staples Center, Thunder has plenty of good vibes to go around. The green canine is certainly loved by the little ones, but adults seem to laugh the loudest when the loveable Storm mascot is up to his usual antics. Want to bring Thunder out to YOUR next event?
