Morel, Chukars nip White Sox
The Chukars (20-13) trailed, 4-2, against reliever Nick Walters (1-1), but Kurt Mertins walked with one out and came home on Brenan Herrera's double. O.D. Gonzalez walked and Brett Bigler singled home Herrera with the tying run.
After Todd Balduf singled to load the bases, Morel reached on an infield hit to plate Gonzalez.
Idaho Falls reliever Aaron Hartsock (3-0) pitched the final five frames to pick up the win. He gave up one run on one hit and one walk with five strikeouts to lower his ERA to 1.78.
Balduf led the Chukars with three hits.
White Sox starter Logan Williamson allowed two runs on seven hits and two walks with four strikeouts in six innings.
