2015 Weekly Promotions: Wednesday Games
FRESNO, Calif.- Wednesday home games at Chukchansi Park take on a whole new theme this year. The familiar Everybody Wins-Days promotion returns, but this season it gives each fan in attendance the opportunity to win six FREE wings from Swiggs Restaurant and Bar if the Grizzlies win. By the ninth inning, the Grizzlies expect fan chants and wing dances to take over the ballpark atmosphere in what could very well be the most interesting victory celebration in club history.
Don't fret; if the Grizzlies happen to lose, all fans receive a complimentary ticket voucher to come back for the next Wednesday home game. This way, there's a win-win no matter what during all seven Wednesday home games this season. Even if the Grizzlies lose on the final Wednesday home game of the season, the team will provide a complimentary ticket voucher to the final regular season home game on Monday, September 7th.
The first opportunity for free wings from Swiggs is on Wednesday, April 15th when the Grizzlies take on the Salt Lake Bees, which also happens to be Good Karma Night. This promotion hands the control over to the fans by allowing them to choose the price point for any seat in the ballpark. Want to pay $1 for a seat? Go ahead! Want to pay $50 for a Diamond Box front row ticket? Go for it! The Good Karma comes into play when the Fresno Grizzlies donate half of the proceeds from each ticket to a local non-profit organization. The more someone pays, the more the Grizzlies are able to help the place that gets kids back into the game (hint hint). More details coming soon!
Other notable promotions landing on Wednesday include The Great Fresno Dance-Off on June 24th and Middle Child Appreciation Night on August 19th. The Great Fresno Dance-Off awards a grand prize to the best dancer at the ballpark. The catch is that any participant MUST dance continuously from first pitch until the final out of the game, with judges on hand to keep a close watch. Middle Child Appreciation Night grants any middle child that brings their siblings to the game a complimentary game ticket. The in-game entertainment will revolve around middle child revenge for the antics their older and young sibling(s) exact on them. The Grizzlies promise it'll be all in good fun.
***Swiggs Fresno (1440 E Shaw Avenue) is offering six free wings (dine-in only) per Wednesday game ticket within six (6) days of the win. Thus, if the Grizzlies win on Wednesday, April 15th, the offer stands through April 21st. Fans must present their Wednesday game ticket at Swiggs prior to ordering to redeem the offer. No exceptions!
