Scrappers Opening Night 2010

Niles, Ohio - Another great season of Scrappers baseball is ready to begin on Monday, June 21. The team is offering a variety of promotions to keep baseball fans in the Mahoning Valley entertained.

Monday, June 21 is Opening Night. The Home Opener features a magnetic schedule giveaway presented by Western Reserve Prosthetics and Orthotics and fireworks presented by Phantom Fireworks. Additionally, the game features the weekly Monday promotions; The Ohio Lottery Power-Play Promotion (present non-winning Powerball tickets for half-price general admission seats) and McDonald's Mondays (get a $5 box seat with a McDonald's receipt.)

The Scrappers are also featuring exciting promotions during the remainder of the 2010 season's opening home stand.

Tuesday, June 22 is Wellness Night presented by Quest Diagnostics and Prostate Awareness Night. The night marks the return of $2 Tuesdays presented by Handel's & Hershey's featuring $2 general admission tickets, hot dogs, 16 oz. drinks, and ice cream sandwiches, and KRAFT Singles Tuesday Night Tickets featuring buy one get one free tickets with a KRAFT Singles wrapper.

Wednesday, June 23 is the College Fair presented by Kent State - Trumbull featuring a $1,000 scholarship giveaway. Wendy's Wednesdays and Military I.D. Night are the featured weekly promotions. Fans receive a buy one get one free box seat offer with a Wendy's receipt. Any fan showing a military I.D. receives two free box seat tickets.

Thursday, June 24 is Twilight Night featuring a vampire fang giveaway and movie prize packs. Thursdays are home to Plevin & Gallucci Buck Nights with $1 general admission tickets, hot dogs, and 12 oz. drinks.

Friday, June 25 is Friday Night Fireworks presented by Captain McFinn. The game is also the season's first Faith Night featuring live, pre-game music from Chris Mowery.
