FAQ's: New Seats at McCormick Field
Frequently Asked Questions on the New Seats & Seating Chart
Q: Tell me about the new seats?
A: Every seat is now a "stadium seat" with cup holders and armrests.
Q: Did the price of tickets go up?
A: About half of the seats in the ballpark went up $1.00; the other half stayed the same as last season. For the Sixth Consecutive year our lowest price ticket remains at $8 ($7 if purchased 24 hours in advance, plus discounts for children, military and seniors). The price of each ticket also includes all government sales taxes; taxes on tickets were recently doubled in the state of North Carolina.
All Ticket prices can be found at: Click Here for Ticket Prices!
Q: What about the size of each seat?
A: The seats are larger than what was allocated per person with the old bleachers. Plus there are also designated handicap seats that are wider and have removable armrests.
Q: Do vouchers have to be redeemed at the Box Office now?
A: Yes, ALL vouchers must be redeemed for an actual ticket (this includes General Admission Vouchers). However we will have a second Box Office set up for every game this year to help cut down any time spent in line. Please remember you do not have to wait till the day of game to redeem your vouchers, they can be redeemed at any time.
Q: What sections are General Admission now?
A: Sections AA, BB, LL, MM, and NN are now General Admission. The rest of the seats in the upper bowl are now part of the newly created Reserves Sections. You can see a complete seating chart at:http://tinyurl.com/

A: Yes the Family Section is still located in Section KK. However these seats are now reserved, so please ask for them at the Box Office when purchasing tickets.

A: YES! You can purchase them at the McCormick Field ServPro Box Office, 828-258-0428 or TouristsTickets.com.

Q: Are there any concrete bleachers left?
A: There are still four rows of concrete bleachers left. These are available on a first come first serve basis. You can bring your chair for these sections on all games except July 3 and the All-Star Game.
Q: Why all the changes?
A: The bleachers were falling apart and had to be replaced. We feel that by replacing everything with "stadium seats" we will add to the comfort and fan experience at McCormick Field
