Yucatan headed to championship
After dropping the opener of the best-of-7 series, the Leones won four in a row and will face Monterrey for the league title beginning on Tuesday.
Said Gutierrez and Luis Arredondo had two-run singles for Yucatan, which outscored Angelopolis, 25-10, following a 7-1 setback in Game 1.
David Dominguez (1-0) picked up the win in relief, allowing a run on one hit with two strikeouts over 3 1/3 innings.
Jorge Alberto Vazquez hit a pair of solo homers for the defending champion Tigres.
