P-Nats Announce Inaugural Toy Drive and Holiday Fan Fest

WOODBRIDGE, VA - The Potomac Nationals and Toys for Tots have paired together this holiday season for the Potomac Nationals Inaugural Toy Drive, presented by Classic Rock 94.7. Toys will be collected at G. Richard Pfitzner Stadium starting Monday, November 27 to Friday, December 15. Office hours are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Fans may drop off new, unwrapped toys during this time and in return, receive a special voucher for a free photo with Santa Claus and Uncle Slam at the Holiday Fan Fest on December 9, 2006, where U.S. Marines will be on hand to receive toys.

The Potomac Nationals Holiday Fan Fest at the Pfitz, presented by Classic Rock 94.7, is an all day event scheduled for Saturday, December 9, 2006 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. Planned activities include photo opportunities with Santa Claus and Uncle Slam, food and refreshments and an autograph session with former P-Nat and current Washington National pitcher Mike O'Connor from 1:00-2:00 pm. Photos are free with a Toys for Tots donation or $5 at the door, with all proceeds benefiting a local charity.

The Potomac Nationals Ticket Office will be open during the Holiday Fan Fest for ticket information and season and ticket package sales. The Team Store will feature select discounted merchandise along with a 10% discount on all other items. Fans may receive an additional 10% discount during the Toy Drive with their Toy Donation voucher. The Potomac Nationals will introduce their Stocking Stuffers merchandise packages this holiday season as well as a free Potomac Nationals gift with every purchase during this Holiday Sale, which ends on December 22nd.
