MMA program at Applebee's Park cancelled due to contract disputes & failed medical tests!

APPLEBEE'S PARK (Lexington, KY) - The mixed martial arts "Fall Brawl," scheduled for Applebee's Park Thursday night, was cancelled. Contract disputes arose and several fighters failed to receive medical clearance, leading to the cancellation.

"We apologize for the cancellation of the program," said Lexington Legends General Manager Andy Shea. "We pride ourselves on being an outstanding venue for other forms of entertainment in addition to Legends baseball. We had a successful martial arts program earlier this year, but things just did not work out this time."

The Legends had worked with Last Man Standing Promotions to present the program scheduled for Thursday, as well as the earlier program held at Applebee's Park May 15.
