Looking for Anthem singers & on field hosts
GRAND CHUTE, WI - The
Wisconsin Timber Rattlers are looking for talented people to sing "The Star
Spangled Banner" and to be members of their on-field entertainment team for
the fast-approaching season.
The Rattlers will be holding
tryouts for National Anthem singers for the 2011 season on Saturday, March 5 at
Time Warner Cable Field from 10am until 3pm.
All individuals and groups who are interested in singing the national
anthem for a 2011 Timber Rattlers home game can audition on this date to secure
a spot for the upcoming season. All individuals/groups that have performed at
the stadium in the past do not need to audition.
Anthem tryouts are available on
a first-come, first-served basis during the designated time period. This will be
the only audition date prior to the 2011 season. All interested parties will be
required to sing a live version of the anthem during the tryout.

The Rattlers are also in search
of energetic, outgoing and enthusiastic individuals to be part of their 2011
on-field entertainment team! Team
members must love performing in front of crowds, be comfortable interacting with
fans of all ages and possess the desire to have fun and excite fans.
Responsibilities:

Welcome fans at the main entrance while distributing giveaways.

Execute all in-game between-inning and situational promotions.

Select and direct on-field participants.

Set up and tear down promotional props as needed.

Enthusiastically entertain Wisconsin Timber Rattler fans!
One
of the openings on the entertainment team is for an on field emcee for the 2011
Timber Rattlers season. The on-field
emcee is responsible for executing all in-game promotions during each inning
break. The emcee must possess a
great speaking voice, love performing in front of large crowds and be
comfortable interacting with fans of all ages along with being energetic,
outgoing, and enthusiastic. Additionally,
the emcee is responsible for memorizing scripts with the capacity to improvise
on a nightly basis. Most
importantly, the emcee must love to have fun and be able to excite thousands of
fans. Previous live audience
experience is desired. An audition
will be required.
Opening Day for the 2011 season is Thursday, April 7. Season ticket packages and tickets for groups of 20 or more are available now by calling 800-WI-TIMBER or by stopping at the Time Warner Cable Field ticket office from 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday.
