Upcoming game/promotion schedule for June 3-9
SOUTH BEND, Indiana (June 1, 2016) - The South Bend Cubs have announced their next homestand schedule. Included are two Pink in the Park games which honor those impacted by breast cancer and a Teacher Appreciation Night (all teachers, administrators and staff with ID receive two free tickets from the Box Office). Pink jerseys worn by the South Bend Cubs for the Pink in the Park games will be auctioned off immediately following each game. Proceeds from the silent auctions benefit the Northern Indiana Cancer Research Consortium.
XPogo, a pogo-stick stunt team will be at the Wednesday, June 8 game, followed by a rare mid-week, post-game Fireworks Extravaganza.
All homestand games take place at Four Winds Field, 501 W. South Street, South Bend. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Box Office at 574-235-9988.
Friday, June 3 vs. West Michigan Whitecaps, 7:35 p.m.
- Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
- Home Run for Life: The South Bend Cubs will honor a patient from Memorial Children's Hospital who will get to run the bases during the game.
- Fantastic Friday Fireworks: Begin immediately following the game.
Saturday, June 4 vs West Michigan Whitecaps, 6 p.m.
- This is a double-header; gates open at 5 p.m.
- Pink in the Park: Help the South Bend Cubs honor, remember and celebrate those impacted by breast cancer. This recognition will take place during the 3rd inning of game 1. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a pink South Bend Cubs hat.
- Flat Screen Saturday: Every inning, one fan in attendance will win a 50-inch flat screen TV.
Sunday, June 5 vs. West Michigan Whitecaps, 2:05 p.m.
- Gates open at noon
- Pink in the Park: Help the South Bend Cubs honor, remember and celebrate those impacted by breast cancer. The first 1,000 fans through the gates will receive a pink South Bend Cubs hat.
- Sunday Funday, Kids Club Day: Play catch on the field before the game and meet your favorite South Bend Cubs player during the post-game autograph session.
Tuesday, June 7 vs. Dayton Dragons, 7:05 p.m.
- Gates open at 6 p.m.
- Teacher Appreciation Night: School administrators, teachers and staff receive two free game tickets with presentation of school ID. (Offer valid only at the South Bend Cubs Box Office.)
- Two Dollar Tuesday: This week's special: $2 Wing It Bags.
Wednesday, June 8 vs Dayton Dragons, 7:05 p.m.
- Gates open at 6 p.m.
- XPogo Appearance: High flying pogo-stick stunt men will perform.
- Giveaway Wednesday: Pink South Bend Cubs Hats will be given to the first 1,000 fans through the gates.
- Silver Slugger Day: Any adult age 60 and older can purchase a ticket for just $6.
- Fireworks Extravaganza: Begin immediately following the game.
Thursday, June 9 vs. Dayton Dragons, 7:05 p.m.
- Gates open at 6 p.m.
- Thirsty Thursday: Enjoy $2 domestic 16-ounce draft beer and regular 22-ounce fountain sodas all game long.
