Greensboro to Host 2018 South Atlantic League All-Star Game

The Greensboro Grasshoppers are proud to announce that the 2018 South Atlantic League All-Star Game will be held at NewBridge Bank Park.

The All-Star Game will be played Tuesday, June 19 at NewBridge Bank Park, featuring selected players from each of the 14 teams in the league.

"We are obviously very excited to showcase NewBridge Bank Park and the city of Greensboro to the rest of the league," said Grasshoppers President Donald Moore. "It is going to be a spectacular event and one that we are honored to host."

Festivities surrounding the 59th annual event will begin Monday, June 18 and conclude on June 20.  
The occasion will mark the second time the Grasshoppers franchise and the fourth time the city of Greensboro has hosted an All-Star Game. The Hoppers played host to the 2008 game with 8,367 fans in attendance.

The Hoppers are back for a four-game homestand beginning Thursday, June 23 against the Hickory Crawdads.
