Iowa Cubs offer video internships

Team to produce 'telecasts' for 100-game season
March 9, 2007
The Iowa Cubs are seeking qualified individuals to join their video production team. Interns produce "telecasts" for the stadium video board as well as the internet and in-house closed-circuit feeds during the 100-game season at Principal Park.

Interns arrive approximately two hours before game time to set up the four-camera operation. Interns rotate positions between camera operator, producer, director, replay operator, and PowerPoint graphics editor.

These positions are mostly "game-time" only, although there are some extra opportunities for interns to produce promotional packages for the team and its sponsors. These are paid positions. Academic credit is available. The Iowa Cubs have 72 home games - starting April 13 - and also host the 28-game high school state baseball tournament (July 20-28).
