Parkview Field to again host Holiday Fireworks during Night of Lights
"We had an overwhelming response from visitors in 2010," stated Michael Limmer, Fort Wayne TinCaps Vice President of Marketing. "We are proud to incorporate Parkview Field into Fort Wayne's downtown experience. Hosting a holiday fireworks display is a natural fit for the facility and a great way to be included in the evening's festivities."
The Night of Lights festivities on Wednesday, November 23rd include:
5:45pm Aunt Millie's Northern Lights at Aunt Millie's Building on Main St.
6:00pm Community Center and History Center Lighting at Main St. and Barr St. respectively
6:15pm Lighting of Santa and His Reindeer at PNC Bank Building on Main St.
6:45pm Lighting of the Wells Fargo Holiday Display at Wells Fargo Building on Calhoun St.

Adding to the night's events will be the "Lights of Love" luminary display on Parkview Field's centerfield amphitheater. In partnership with Erin's House for Grieving Children, these luminaries are lit as a remembrance of a loved one during the holidays. Individuals are encouraged to sponsor a luminary, all proceeds go to support Erin's House and their mission to provide children and their families comfort and support after the loss of a loved one.
