Enhancements Made to Parking at Werner Park for 2012

More handicap parking, larger signs and more highlight improvements to parking
March 29, 2012
PAPILLION, Neb. - The Werner Park parking lots will have several key improvements as the club looks to enhance itself in every way possible in its second season at Werner Park.

"We are always striving to provide better service to our customers," said President and General Manager Martie Cordaro. "These improvements in the set-up of our parking lots are just one way we are trying to help boost the fan experience."

Entrance One (1) is now a pass-only parking lot for those who have either a season parking pass, media parking pass and pre-paid parking. It is highly encouraged that fans and media with passes enter the grounds on 120th Street and head west on Ballpark Way to enter the grounds.

Entrance Two (2) can be used by those who pay $5.00 to park their vehicles in F1. Handicap spaces are available in F1 for fans that require handicap parking.

Entrances Three (3) and Four (4) saw additional general parking and handicapped parking added. Parking in lots F3 and F4 can be secured for just $2.00.

For guests with RV's, parking can be found in lot F4 for $10.00. Every spot in F4 includes a hook-up for guests to plug their RV in to. Each parking lot has a tailgating section for fans to enjoy responsibly. Charcoal grills and glass bottles are not allowed in the tailgating sections.

For fans getting dropped off at Werner Park, the drop-off procedure is still the same as 2011 with fans getting dropped off doing so on Ballpark Way, just outside of the Storm Front team store.

Also returning from last year are the designated zones of free parking. Free parking can be found in the gravel lots located north of parking lots F4 and F5.

Should any confusion occur, be on the lookout for the new signs in each parking lot that feature a larger and clearer font than those that were posted last year or call (402) 734-2550 for further details.
