ALLIANCE BASEBALL LED BY CEO GARY GREEN PURCHASES THE OMAHA STORM CHASERS
OMAHA, (Neb) - The Omaha Storm Chasers are proud to announce the purchase of the team by Alliance Baseball Omaha LLC an affiliate of Alliance Baseball LLC. Alliance Baseball is led by businessman and entrepreneur, Gary Green and his partner Larry Botel. In addition to Green, who is CEO of Alliance Building Services and Alliance Baseball LLC, and Larry Botel, co-founder of Alliance Baseball LLC and JOSS Realty Partners; managing partners in the deal are Eric Foss, CEO of Aramark; and Brian Callaghan, co-founder of Apex Systems.
"The Storm Chasers' success is what attracted us initially and the team's recent recognition by Forbes.com as one of the top 20 minor league franchises only confirmed our confidence in their success. We look forward to building an even brighter future together," said Green.
Green announced that the current management team, led by President and General Manager, Martie Cordaro, will remain in place.
"Our new ownership partners are a great fit for the Omaha Storm Chasers, Sarpy County and Omaha. They have business savvy and they love baseball. They understand what it means to bring a memorable experience to the Storm Chasers' fans. It's a first-rate combination for propelling us forward," said Cordaro. "The entire staff at Werner Park is excited to be part of this new chapter in our future."

Green, Botel and Callaghan are also partners in the Richmond Flying Squirrels, a San Francisco Giants Double-A affiliate in Richmond, Virginia. The Squirrels are regarded as one of the most successful franchises in minor league baseball.
Gary Green also announced the early extension of the Storm Chasers Player Development Contract (PDC) with the Kansas City Royals through 2016. This signals the commitment of the team to the Kansas City Royals and to Werner Park.
