Crain to become Scranton's new GM
"I've had an incredible experience in Omaha and will miss everyone greatly," Crain said. "My mentor, Martie Cordaro, has been my biggest advocate through this entire process. I cannot thank him enough for his leadership, guidance and most importantly, his never ending friendship. Martie, along with the new ownership group led by Gary Green, will continue to provide the best and most affordable family entertainment in the Omaha metro area."
Scranton / Wilkes-Barre is currently undergoing a $43 million renovation of PNC Field in Moosic, Pa. are also in the process of undergoing a change in brand identity, much like the Omaha Storm Chasers underwent during the move from Rosenblatt Stadium to Werner Park.
Crain has worked for the Omaha franchise since October of 2006 and has spearheaded the club's advertising/sales team, which has set franchise revenue records the past five years running. He led the rebranding effort put forth as the team changed its identity from the Omaha Royals to the Omaha Storm Chasers and has also played an integral role in the design and construction of Werner Park.

Crain's last day with the Storm Chasers will be July 13 and he will start in Scranton / Wilkes-Barre on July 16.
