Nutzy's Winter FUNN Fest

FUNN Fest Kicks off with 2013 Season Opener Ticket Sales

RICHMOND, VA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels have enhanced their annual Toys for Tots Holiday Party by adding registration for Nutzy's Rotary Funn Run, Live Music, Angel Tree, and Christmas Parade Floats. Legendary Santa will make an appearance at The Diamond starting at 6 PM until 8 PM. Nutzy's Winter FUNN Fest will incorporate part of the Dominion Richmond Christmas Parade by showcasing select parade floats and inflating the 65-foot Garfield balloon. Nutzy's Winter FUNN Fest is open to the pubic, and is a FREE event.

Runners interested in participating in Nutzy's Rotary Funn Run can sign up for $25 at this free event. The first 500 registered runners will receive a limited edition Nutzy Funn Run Knit Cap. The Race will being at The Diamond at approximately 7:30 AM and concluded at 9:15 AM in time for participants to attend the Christmas Parade. All proceeds from the Funn Run will go to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Richmond and First Things First of Greater Richmond.

For the first time in Richmond Flying Squirrels history you can purchase 2013 Season Opener Tickets at Nutzy's Winter FUNN Fest. Starting at 4 PM on Friday ticket sales for the 2013 Season Opener will be available for purchase online at www.squirrelsbaseball.com or by calling our Box Office at (804) 359-3866. This is a limited time event as ticket sales for this great stocking stuffer will stop on Christmas Eve, December 24th. In addition the Flying Squirrels Offer a Holiday Plan which includes the 2013 Season Opener and 6 games of your choosing, a Squirrels stocking, hat and t-shirt.
