Former Cutter d'Arnaud traded to Mets
d'Arnaud, who played in 48 games for Williamsport in 2008, hit .309 with 4 home runs and 25 RBI and was named to the NYP all-star team.
With Lakewood (A) in 2009, he hit .255 with 13 home runs and 71 RBIs, helping the BlueClaws win their second South Atlantic League title. After the season, he was traded to the Blue Jays as part of the trade that brought Roy Halladay to the Phillies.
d'Arnaud played for Dunedin (A) in 2010. In 2011, he won the Eastern League MVP Award, hitting .311 with 21 home runs and 78 RBIs with Double-A New Hampshire. In 2012, playing for Triple-A Las Vegas, he hit .333 with 16 home runs and 52 RBIs in just 67 games before a knee injury prematurely ended his season.
D'Arnaud has been named to four minor league all-star teams & has twice played in MLB's Futures Game.
He was ranked as the 19th best prospect in all of baseball on Baseball America's 2012 Mid-Season Top 50 list.
