Suns announce promotional schedule
Suns baseball action returns to Municipal Stadium on Tuesday, April 4th, with an exhibition game versus the HCC Hawks. The first regular season home game is Monday, April 10th.
Once again, the promotional schedule is loaded with both new and welcomed returning promotions. Highlighting the promotional calendar are 14 of the Tri-State area's BEST Fireworks shows as well as 14 total premium giveaway nights, including a Suns record five bobblehead giveaways.
Two of the bobbleheads feature a continuation of the Suns successful "High School Heroes" bobblehead series which began in 2005. Williamsport High School's Larry Wadel (April 22) and Boonsboro High School's Coach Scott (June 7) will be featured. In addition, the Independence Day weekend celebration will feature, in addition to the traditional once-annual 3-D fireworks show, George Washington (July 1) and Statue of Liberty (July 2) bobbleheads. The remaining bobblehead giveaway is SO big, we can't announce it yet!
"Every year, I can't believe we are able to outdo the previous season's promotional schedule," said Suns President & General Manager Kurt Landes. "I probably should've been fired by now for spending all this money on promotions and giveaways. It's just hard to say 'no' to all these fun promotions."
