Bud Kerr Museum brings back memories for fans both young and old

(Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, BC) - The Class A Short-Season Vancouver Canadians are gearing up for their 10th season in the Northwest League which kicks off Saturday, June 20th at 7:05pm vs. Everett (Mariners).

As the Canadians reflect on the subtle milestone, fans of baseball in Vancouver are fortunate to have the Bud Kerr Museum located inside Nat Bailey Stadium. The shrine is dedicated to the nearly 60 years of baseball that has been played in Nat Bailey Stadium (Capilano Stadium).

Opening on June 18th, 2008, longtime Vancouver Baseball Historian Bud Kerr cut the ribbon opening the museum along with former Montreal Expo great Tim Raines. With more than 50 artifacts and Curator Kit Krieger working to give the museum more distinguishing elements each and every year, the Bud Kerr Museum is quickly becoming a 'destination' for local baseball fans.
