Second annual GJR Winter Caravan hits the road

Rockies to make stop in six cities

(Grand Junction, CO) - The 2nd annual Grand Junction Rockies Winter Caravan will be traveling to six cities throughout the western slope of Colorado beginning Thursday, February 6th in Rifle and Parachute, wrapping up in Grand Junction on Saturday, February 8th. Popular Rockies first baseman, Correlle Prime will be featured during each of the six stops along with the official mascot of the Grand Junction Rockies, CORKY. This old fashion "meet and greet" is free and open to the public with the opportunity to receive autographs, photos, door prizes , along with 2014 season schedules. "This is a fun way to bring the GJR to the fans during the cold days of winter," said Tim Ray, Grand Junction Rockies General Manager. "The Grand Junction Rockies belong to the fans of the western slope and the state of Colorado."

The GJR Winter Caravan will spend 90-minutes at each of the six locations. The Caravan schedule is as follows:

  • Thursday, February 6, @ Rib City (Rifle) 5:00pm-6:30pm; @ Momma's Restaurant (Parachute) 7:30pm-9:00pm
  • Friday, February 7, @ CB's Tavern (Delta) 5:00pm-6:30pm; @ Mi Rinconcito (Olathe) 7:00pm-8:30pm
  • Saturday, Febraury 8, @ Inari's (Palisade) 5:00pm-6:30pm; @ Ale House (Grand Junction 7:00pm-8:30pm
