The El Paso Chihuahuas lost an early lead for the second straight game on Monday, falling to the Las Vegas 51s 5-4 at Cashman Field. El Paso broke a scoreless tie in the third inning when Reymond Fuentes and Jeff Francoeur hit RBI singles and Kyle Blanks hit a sacrifice fly. The Chihuahuas went ahead 4-0 on Daniel Robertson's RBI single in the fourth.
Las Vegas got within one after a three-run fourth inning, highlighted by Taylor Teagarden's two-run homer. The 51s scored twice more in the fifth on Eric Campbell's two-run homer. Neither side scored in the final four innings of the game.
El Paso catcher Adam Moore went 2-for-4 with two doubles and is now 5-for-10 with three doubles in the series. Daniel Robertson went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the loss and is hitting .389 since returning from the disabled list four games ago. The Chihuahuas have lost six of their last seven games.
