Gwinnett Braves Unveil 25-Game Broadcast Schedule on MeTV

G-Braves partner with WSB-TV Atlanta to televise 25 games on digital sub-channel

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA - The Gwinnett Braves, Triple-A affiliate of the Atlanta Braves, have announced a new partnership with WSB-TV Atlanta that includes a 25-game broadcast schedule on MeTV in 2014. The G-Braves' first televised game on the channel will be on Friday, June 6 at 7:00 PM vs. Columbus.

Announcers Mike Morgan and Dave Lezotte, Gwinnett's broadcast team in 2013, return to the booth to call the action. Veteran sportscaster Van Earl Wright will also handle play-by-play duties for select games this season.

"We are excited to partner with WSB-TV on this new broadcast venture," said North Johnson, Gwinnett Braves General Manager. "This partnership will allow fans from across Georgia to watch the next wave of Atlanta Braves stars on MeTV."

"This summer will be fun for baseball fans in Georgia," said Tim McVay, Vice President and General Manager of WSB-TV. "We look forward to a great season and are excited to provide Gwinnett Braves' games on MeTV."

The 25-game broadcast schedule will include Friday and Saturday games (7:00 PM) as well as Sunday games (2:00 PM). Select weekday games, including noon games on Monday, June 23 and Thursday, July 24 are also included on the schedule. MeTV can be found on Comcast channel 248 in metro Atlanta and Charter channel 194 in metro Atlanta and Athens.
