Brett Iddon - 1996

The Facts:  Signed by the Seattle Mariners as an undrafted free agent out of Australia in 1994; Midwest League All Star; Opening Day Age: 20

The Case:  Did not start a game, but had 11 wins to go with his 11 saves.

 

Aquilino Lopez - 2000

The Stats: 6-1, 17 saves, 1.85 ERA, 39 games, 68 IP, 20 walks, 67 strikeouts, 0.99 WHIP

The Facts: Signed by the Seattle Mariners as an undrafted free agent out of the Dominican Republic in 1997; Midwest League All Star; Opening Day Age: 25

The Case:  The first of three Rattlers to get 17 saves in a season.

 

Chad Wiles - 2001

The Case:  Tied Lopez for second on the team's save list.

 

Craig James - 2005

The Case:  Dominant for the short time he spent with the Rattlers, having the lowest ERA and WHIP.
