Jackson, Tenn. - On May 4, the Jackson Generals announced that they would be wearing special Admiral Ackbar-themed jerseys for Star Wars Night June 3. The entire team will wear jerseys honoring the military commander who helped lead the successful attack on the Galactic Empire's Second Death Star when Jackson takes on the Mississippi Braves that Saturday.
One of the team's signature promotions is being presented by the Hardeman County Correctional Facility! The night features a fantastic Star Wars-themed postgame Fireworks Show, and a pair of lucky fans will win a trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida!
Fans from across the country will have a chance to take home one of the special game-worn jerseys! They will be auctioned off after the game online through Sunday evening. All jerseys will be signed by the General who wore them, and proceeds will go to the Generals Care Foundation!
Additionally, the first 1,000 fans to the game on June 3 will take home a replica jersey t-shirt courtesy of Reinhausen Manufacturing! Season Ticket holders are guaranteed a shirt and a giveaway at every eligible game all year!
