Vancouver (11-12) scored early and often grabbing the game's opening run in the bottom of the 2nd inning when 3B Jesus Severino hit his second home run in three games, a solo blast that gave the C's a 1-0 lead.

A five-run outburst in the home half of the 4th inning put the game out of reach as the C's batted around sending all nine hitters to the plate producing five runs that included a two-run double from Severino and a bases clearing triple from McGregory Contreras that helped Vancouver build a 7-0 lead. At this point, the Canadians had scored 24 runs over the past 22 innings dating back to July 5th at Everett.
