(Burlington, IA) - Keith Grieshaber smacked a walk-off double in the 10th inning, helping the Burlington Bees (21-32) beat the Cedar Rapids Kernels (32-24) on Saturday night at Community Field.

(Burlington, IA) - Keith Grieshaber smacked a walk-off double in the 10th inning, helping the Burlington Bees (21-32) beat the Cedar Rapids Kernels (32-24) on Saturday night at Community Field. 
Jack Kruger started the second inning by lacing a double down the left field line. After advancing on a Brennan Morgan fly out, Kruger came home to score on a John Schuknecht single, giving the Bees a 1-0 lead. 
Cedar Rapids opened the third inning with back-to-back singles from Christian Caveness and Ben Rortvedt. Aaron Whitefield grounded into a double play, scoring Caveness, tying the game at one. 
Sam McDonnell opened the fourth inning by shooting a single down the left field line. McDonnell moved to third on a Jack Kruger single. Brennan Morgan then grounded into a double play, scoring McDonnell, giving the Bees the 2-1 lead over the Kernels.
After the Kernels tied it again in the seventh inning on a Caveness double, the Bees came back to take the lead again, this time in the eighth. Juan Moreno started the inning by walking and then moved over to second on a wild pitch. After an error moved Moreno to third, the Bees took the lead thanks to a wild pitch, making the score 3-2.
Christian Caveness continued his big game for Cedar Rapids by sending the game into extra innings with a RBI triple in the top of the ninth inning. Juan Moreno started another Bees' rally with a walk in the bottom of the 10th inning. With one out and runners at first and second, Keith Grieshaber drove a triple into the gap in left, scoring Moreno, giving the Bees the 4-3 win.
Ronnie Glenn (2-0) worked a 1-2-3 inning, earning the win while Alex Robinson (1-3) was charged with the loss.
