After the Kernels tied it again in the seventh inning on a Caveness double, the Bees came back to take the lead again, this time in the eighth.
Christian Caveness continued his big game for Cedar Rapids by sending the game into extra innings with a RBI triple in the top of the ninth inning. Juan Moreno started another Bees' rally with a walk in the bottom of the 10th inning. With one out and runners at first and second, Keith Grieshaber drove a triple into the gap in left, scoring Moreno, giving the Bees the 4-3 win.
