With the loss, Fresno dropped four games back of Sacramento for first place in the Pacific Northern Division. The Grizzlies will also try to avoid being swept for the first time this season tomorrow night (26 series).

ON THAT FRES-NOTE: Prior to tonight, the first six games played at Chukchansi Park in 2019 between the River Cats and Grizzlies/Tacos had not gone the regulated nine innings. Two rainouts forced seven-inning doubleheaders on May 17th and 19th. The contests on May 20th and July 23 both went to extras (10 innings). Fresno went 2-4 in those games.
