The Durham Bulls will host their 2018 Fall Fan Fest on Saturday, October 27 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A 'Hamilton' ticket raffle, costume contest, food trucks and hayrides highlight the event, which is free to attend.
Each fan in attendance at Fall Fan Fest will be entered to win two tickets to the Broadway hit 'Hamilton' at the Durham Performing Arts Center, and four different winners will be chosen based on a raffle drawing. Each attendee will be given a raffle ticket upon entrance, and fans will receive an additional raffle ticket for every Bulls ticket purchased at Fall Fan Fest. For example, if a fan purchases a 10-game 919 Club membership plan at the event, he or she would receive an additional 10 raffle tickets for the 'Hamilton' drawing. Fans must be present to win.
The team will also sell a special three-game Hamilton Pack on October 27 only, entitling fans to a ticket to three games for the 2019 season: Opening Day, Father's Day and Labor Day. The package costs $33, and will only be available at the DBAP during Fall Fan Fest.
Additionally, the event will feature 'Suites and Treats,' as fans can collect candy in the PNC Triangle Club. The event will offer hayrides around the playing field, costume contests (for children and adults), an inflatable obstacle course, pumpkin decorating and photo opportunities with the Governors' Cup trophy. Princess and super hero characters will also be on-site to take photos with fans.
Local food trucks Bull City Street Food and MoonRunners Saloon will be on-hand to serve their delicacies, and Bull Durham Beer will also be available. The Ballpark Corner Store will be hosting a rummage sale, with select items marked down as much as 50 percent. A portion of proceeds from the rummage sale will benefit the United Way as part of the Durham Bulls and Capitol Broadcasting Company United Way Giving Campaign.
