Matheny would get redemption in the fourth inning, nailing a two-out RBI triple off the right-field wall, cutting the deficit to 2-1.
The Yard Goats used walks to aid their big rally in the fourth. Pimentel walked three and yielded a three-run homer to Rodgers. In the fifth, the Goats scored four, sending nine men to the plate for the second consecutive inning.
