Hens comeback to beat Tides

Both teams put up blanks through the first two innings, but the Tides plated two in the third to take a 2-0 lead.
In the bottom half of the inning, Ronny Rodriguez launched his ninth home run of the season over the left-field wall to cut the Tides lead in half. This accounted for Rodriguez's 36th RBI of the season.

Toledo loaded the bases with no outs in the bottom of the fourth inning by a Dawel Lugo walk and base hits from Jim Adduci and Mickie Mahtook. Chad Huffman then legged out an infield single to score Lugo and tie the game at two apiece. Grayson Greiner drew a walk to score Adduci and then Pete Kozma hit a sacrifice fly to right field to score Mahtook. At the end of the inning, the Mud Hens held a 4-2 lead.

Chapman's night came to an end as Kevin Comer came in to pitch. Chapman suffered one earned run on one hit and three walks. Comer delivered a scoreless eighth inning allowing no hits and one walk. Johnny Barbato came in to close the game for the Mud Hens and took down the Norfolk side in order recording one strike out.
What's Next:
The Toledo Mud Hens go on the road for a four-game series against division rival the Indianapolis Indians. The Hens currently lead the Indians by 5.5 games and the first pitch on Monday night at Victory Field is scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
