The victory snapped Fresno's eight-game losing streak and moved them to 12-5 on Sundays (7-2 on the road). It was also the Grizzlies 12th comeback win of the season.
Yadiel Hernandez highlighted the Fresno offense with a pair of longballs. His fourth multi-homer contest of the year pushed his total to 22. Hernandez reached base four times, driving in three runs and scoring thrice. Taylor Gushue and Drew Ward joined Hernandez in the clout column. Gushue smacked his 10th tater of the 2019 campaign while Ward tallied his first Triple-A wallop.
David Freitas headlined the San Antonio lineup with a three-hit evening. Freitas clobbered a two-run shot and was plated three times. Cory Spangenberg and Troy Stokes Jr. combined for five hits, two RBI and three runs for the Missions as well. Reliever Taylor Williams (3-2) suffered the San Antonio defeat.
James Bourque (1-1) earned the decision for the Grizzlies after two frames of work. He was followed by George Kontos, who delivered another scoreless outing. Kontos has six straight appearances without allowing a run (10.0 IP). Dakota Bacus recorded his ninth save in the process.

ON THAT FRES-NOTE: The Grizzlies have had a player homer twice on their last four Sunday games. Yadiel Hernandez blasted a pair of bombs August 4th at San Antonio. Jake Noll went deep twice on July 28th versus Reno. Brandon Snyder enjoyed a pair of multi-clout contests on July 21st at Reno and July 14th at Sacramento. Fresno has had 15 multi-dinger games this year.
Grizzlies starter Ben Braymer mustered his first two Triple-A RBI after a single to center in the third inning. Braymer is batting .429 with an .858 OPS in five games.
