BILOXI, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster move on Tuesday. BILOXI, MS - The Milwaukee Brewers announced the following roster move on Tuesday. RHP Hiram Burgos  has been transferred to Biloxi from AAA Colorado Springs.
Burgos, 29, was 2-4 with a 7.58 ERA in 11 games, 10 starts for the Triple-A SkySox this season with 33 strikeouts over 38.0 innings. The Cayey, Puerto Rico native was on the disabled list from May 28 to July 9. In six Major League starts for the Brewers, Burgos has a 1-2 record and a 6.44 ERA. Burgos was the 2012 Brewers Minor League Pitcher of the Year and has appeared in 169 Minor League games in the Brewers organization since being drafted in the sixth round in 2009.

Burgos made five starts for the Shuckers during the Inaugural season in 2015 going 3-0 on with a 3.68 ERA from May 16 to June 16. Burgos was a member of Puerto Rico's World Baseball Classic squad in 2013 and 2017. He becomes the fourth Puerto Rico native on the active roster joining pitcher Jorge López , catcher René Garcia, and infielder Angel Ortega .
Tuesday's move brings the current Shuckers roster to 25.

The Shuckers are enjoying a day off on Tuesday and begin a 10-game road trip on Wednesday in Pearl against the Mississippi Braves. Luis Ortiz gets the start in game one for the Shuckers. First pitch is at 7:05 pm CT with live coverage beginning at 6:45 pm on Cruisin' WGCM AM-1240/FM-100.9 and the Shuckers Radio Network. The game will also be available at biloxishuckers.com, MiLB.TV and TuneIn Radio.
The Shuckers will return to MGM Park on Sunday, July 30 for a five-game series against the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp. Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance at any Ticketmaster outlet or biloxishuckers.com.
