Hoover’s hit gave the Travs their only lead of the game. Trailing by two, Arkansas scored twice in the eighth to tie the game on a two-out double by Riley Unroe. Isaiah Campbell was the winner in relief after throwing a 1-2-3 inning. Midland starter Jack Cushing threw six shutout innings while Travs starter Ethan Lindow went six inning and allowed just one run.
